What has changed recently?
All those restrictions and policies eBay & Paypal put it against the small seller & preventative measures for buyers has done nothing.
It seems as though eBay sellers have an upper hand, but many discredit that. The game is still tough and very frustrating.
Truth is, any negative feedback, false claims, disputes, etc... can result in a good eBay suspension to knock you on your hiney.
Buyers today can game the system and make PayPal & eBay side with them. Thank eBay's guaranteed money back return policy.
Who is really at fault? Both eBay & PayPal and these buyers for trying to game the system. Sellers are also to blame as well for scamming buyers.
So pretty much everyone is to blame, not just one or the other. People miss the golden eBay days where you could sell loads of items, accept bank transfers, money orders, you name it.
eBay grew and they grew fast because of it.
Now, if our company doesn't accept PayPal, we lose out on the sale and we get kicked into oblivion.
We lose on sales and trust from our buyers.
Once again, it is those sellers & buyers at fault for causing havoc and making PayPal and eBay put these regulations in.
These are the ones who provoked eBay & Paypal to put such rules.
The greatest thing to achieve against these rules should be follow them as best we could and hope we don't break any, resulting in an eBay suspension or Paypal limitation.
What Things Can We Do When an eBay Suspension Or Paypal Limitation Occurs?
Let us take it a step at a time, guarding yourself from a PayPal limitation or eBay suspension is nearly impossible. You can however know some possibilities that cause them.
For one, if you sell fakes, replicas, knockoffs, etc... you are going to get canned. There is no doubt about it. That is like a drug dealer dealing the stuff knowing at one point or another that someone is watching you.
One small slip and you are cooked. If you plan to stay long in the game, just know that suspensions & limitations are your friend. Get acquainted with them.
If you scam by not shipping items, that is a definite and obvious reason for getting suspended or limited.
All the above is obvious reasons and others are not so obvious reasons for being suspended. More on that here.
Ok, That Is Good Stuff, But What About PayPal Limitations?
PayPal limitations simply suck no questions about that. You simply do not know when they will hit and when they do, they hit hard.
Limitations happen when you least expect it.
If you plan to do large transactions in the account, best preventative measure is to get as much money out of the account as possible.
Leave no money in the account to avoid getting the account locked and your money held for 180 days.
Several businesses have left $10,000+ and it got locked in times where they needed it most.
Sad, but true.
Avoid using any type of free sources for VPNS, proxies or wifi access points. It is nearly impossible to trace who logged in previously with these accounts.
You never know, a scammer could have logged into these IPs and use them to scam thousands of dollars from buyers.
Then guess what? Your responsible for it because you share the same IP. Scary? Very...
The greatest plan of action is through using a dedicated IP services, USB dongles, tethering or straight modem connections.
Do not assume these are 100% bulletproof as they are not, but they are the best options to go with if you cannot get another IP address.
One thing I want to touch on is, some limitations can be easy and others are not.
Limitations in which you need to change your password, change security questions & confirm your credit card or phone is the easiest of the bunch.
A simple phone call to one of the PayPal reps is the easiest way to get it lifted in a jiffy.
On the other side hand, limitations asking for SSN is a dead end hands down. Once this happens, stick a fork in you, your done, your cooked, game over man.
If this is your personal account, good for you...you still have a shot to get it lifted. If not, game over man.
If you have got money in there, wait the 180 days and hope PayPal releases it.
If you moved the money out beforehand, good for you! Your preparing and will do good in the long run! We give you 7 stars for that...
Is There A Sure Fire Way To Avoid Suspensions & Limitations All Together?
No and also they won't ever be unless you have some control through eBay or Paypals end.
People advertising they have suspension or limitation proof accounts are simply idiots & deserved to be hanged.
If you choose to purchase accounts from them, that ought to be your indication to avoid right there.
There is no such thing as a suspension or limitation proof account. That is like saying there is a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. It is not true, it is just fantasy play.
This goes with purchased and created accounts.
Picture it this way, if there was such a thing as these so called "suspension or limitation proof" accounts, wouldn't you think all these power sellers, top rated sellers & life time members still be in business?
Of course not!
Many have been suspended & limited like no one's business.
It should be a clear eye-opener that anyone & everyone is a victim of eBay & Paypal.
Not any one account will last as you hoped. Which is why it is recommended to create or buy multiple eBay & Paypal accounts.
Keep back-up accounts and you will save yourself a lot of headaches.
Closing Words On eBay Suspensions & Paypal Limitations
They suck & they suck some more. Ask anyone who has been suspended or limited. They will tell you that they suck more than a Oreck vacuum.
If you enjoy that, then you are a sick human being and need to get yourself checked.
Be cautious & be aware, suspensions & limitations are just right around the corner.
